Bellusco is a small town, quiet and highly sought after for the quality of the building fabric that has always rejected the projects of multi-storey buildings in favor of single or combined houses surrounded by greenery. The name derives from the noble family of local feudal lords, the Beluschi, who already in the 11th century founded a fortress from which the Castle developed which still today greets visitors entering the town, and whose effigy is still present in the municipal coat of arms. . Several legends have flourished, including the presence of an underground passage, secret and safe, which led to the Castle of Sulbiate. The Borgo di Camuzzago dates back to the 12th century with the foundation of a convent and a church commissioned by the canons of the Holy Sepulcher, to welcome and refresh pilgrims headed for the Holy Land: it has recently been renovated, preserving the precious artistic and historical testimonies of the Municipality. The patronal feast is particularly well known: in September the Sagra di Santa Giustina attracts many visitors also from all over the district.
